Jon Cook

Jon has led VMLY&R as global CEO since the agency was established in September 2018. The new agency created a global marketing force with nearly 7,000 employees and principal offices in Kansas City, London, São Paulo, Shanghai, Singapore, and Sydney. Prior to leading VMLY&R, Jon served as VML global CEO since 2011. Jon helped lead VML to Advertising Age A-List honors from 2016 to 2018. VMLY&R was recognized as a 2019 A-List Agency to Watch by Ad Age. VMLY&R is proud to serve some of the world's most recognized and respected brands, including Campbell, Colgate-Palmolive, Danone, Dell, Ford, Microsoft, U.S. Navy, Pfizer, Sherwin-Williams, U.S. Census, United Rentals, and Wendy’s.

Jon serves on the Ad Council Board of Directors; he is a member of the national advisory board of the National WWI Museum and Memorial; and is a board member of the Head for the Cure Foundation, a national organization dedicated to search for cures of brain cancer.

Jon graduated from the University of Missouri in 1993 with a Bachelor of Journalism.
