Practicum on Self-Regulation
Within the Business program of the 45th IAA World Congress, a Partner's event, Practicum on Self-Regulation, is to be held. The event will be organized by Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia and the European Advertising Standards Alliance (EASA).
EASA was set up in 1992 to become the single authoritative voice on advertising self-regulation issues in Europe. EASA promotes responsible advertising in commercial communications by means of effective self-regulation, while being mindful of national differences in culture, as well as legal and commercial practice. Currently EASA unites members from 25 countries.
Practicum on Self-Regulation will be held on May 27 at the Presidential Library named after B. N. Yeltsin. The event operator is the Committee on Self-Regulation of the Russian Communications Agencies Association. The event will be moderated by Lucas Boudet, Director General of the European Advertising Standards Alliance, and Alexei Kovylov, Vice-President of the Russian Communications Agencies Association.
Participants of the Practicum will have an opportunity to get acquainted with international cases on self-regulation on the communications market and discuss up-to-date issues with EASA representatives.
