Penny Baldwin is Senior Vice President and the Chief Marketing Officer at Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. She leads the company’s marketing efforts, worldwide, spanning corporate communications, brand management, product marketing, digital and social marketing, content and creative, thought leadership, positioning and narratives, insights, and analytics.
Before joining Qualcomm, Baldwin was Vice President and General Manager of Intel Global Brand Management & Reputation, responsible for leading all facets of the Intel brand worldwide. In addition, she oversaw Intel partner marketing (including worldwide oversight of the Intel Inside program) and all marketing strategy and execution in support of the New Technology Group, which included VR, merged reality, drones, head and wrist worn wearables, AI, and Intel’s 360-degree Replay technology.
Baldwin is a seasoned marketing professional with 30+ years of in-depth expertise spanning agency leadership of Madison Avenue agency brands, global consumer marketing, and brand management for Yahoo!, CMO of global security company McAfee, and global brand management, partner marketing, and new technology group marketing for Intel. She is an inspirational leader of marketing and communications teams, has extensive international marketing experience, and is deeply conversant across the full spectrum of marketing disciplines requiring global integration and optimization.
